  • You're joking right? Dude these guys are what's stopping atheists from putting Christianity on the same level as mythology. You guys on the other hand just stick to a 'faith alone' mentality that makes you as reasonable as a jihadist.

    P.S.

You've blocked anime from your mind for two years? I guess that explains why you've got such bad taste and why you shouldn't have a right to talk crap about it.

  • That's only because you're just scared to admit that you're really just ignorant about it.

'Cartoon women running around naked most of the time' Yeah right, if that's all you've let your eyes see in it then you're immature and you put even younger Christian teens to shame. At least they've got an open mind.

  • Oh wait, almost forgot. Bleach and DBZ may be popular but they aren't the only mainstream titles out there. If you're gonna claim that you used to be a real anime fan then you've gotta prove that you're familiar with at least ten to twenty titles or more. That's my standard for otaku anyway. I don't know about the veteran ones (I think their standard was about fifty?).

  • Hey man, even people who've studied the Bible say that it's not perfect without a perfect interpreter. And believe me, they've got a lot more credentials than KJ types like you.

I also find it a little funny how you say you used to like Bleach. Tell me, just much do you really know about it? Have you watched the Arrancar arc? Do you know what a Vizard is? (No googling now, that's cheating)

  • The Bible can describe God but how do you know that's just a tiny fraction of God's nature?

And by the way, you make an unintelligent comment about anime. For one, it is not a 'thing' it's a term to describe a deep, artistic, and complex genre of animation that cannot be lumped so easily in your terms. Don't say you 'use to like it' cuz I know your type and I could prove it right now on how ignorant you really are about it.

  • Of course God hasn't changed, but the thing is, it's not like even the older Christians knew what God was like in the first place. He worked in mysterious ways waaay back then.

Also, as to your little verse, I want you to think for a sec. Do you think God, a being so powerful, so infinite, so almighty, and so omnipotent, could easily be described in a book?

    Just a thought.

    P.S.

Pop culture ain't so bad. I know a girl who's very Christian yet she's a big fan of anime and cartoons.

  • Dude seriously. You need to chill. Other people have better reasons to hate this world than just popular culture. You make God sounds like an old Amish or Puritan Quaker guy... brr! If I had my way, I'd call that blasphemy.

  • It is NOT my God. I love THE iDOLM@STER because it's cute and the music is positive. If you actually did your homework, you see that it IS glorifing God. If you don't believe me you can look up the lyrics to Yasashisa ni tsutsumareta nara by Kotori Otonashi.

  • You're comparing THE iDOLM@STER to hentai? Hentai is gross. You obviously didn't look at jumpsuits, tuxedos, maid uniforms, the casual wear, the 765 production uniforms, new year kimonos, or the wonder momo costumes, to name a few.

  • Oops. I meant seriously?
