No, the artists lose money. Copyright law is not a new concept. The only difference is that it's now easy for people to steal copyrighted property. If it suddenly became "easy" to steal books, food, prescription drugs, etc...would you do that too? You're like everyone else who does this, hiding behind the defense that the corporation is the only victim. if you're going to steal, at least have the balls to admit you're robbing the artist of money. Don't pretend it's anything different.

I ONLY BUY ALBUMS FROM ARTISTS I LOVE. INFACT I HAVNT DOWNLOADED MUSIC IN OVER 6 YEARS (even then i didnt download much). i feel guilty if were to download hendrix or joy division, so i buy their albums instead, why?
