If you look up the lyrics to the whole song you'll see that Neil Young was making a statement - not money - with this tune. Too bad the rest of the country didn't open their eyes - now they're all opening their pockets and finding them empty. Bush should have been impeached - he did nothing for this country (except for himself and his rich buddies) but bury us all in a hole and then give us a straw to suck air through! GO NEIL!!! Thanks for speaking for many of us!

@Ylviste well you did say that the ideal of communism was a 'brotherhood' in which all are equal. maybe by 'ideal' you just meant the marxists conception of it, but in my opinion that idea was never actually used by communist rulers. it was never wanted by them. your wording makes nazism sound way worse than the real communism russia had under stalin, which it wasn't. the ideal of 'communism' under him was that he can kill whoever he wants, and he did. more people than hitler.

@ToxicBrainSludge No I am not saying that communism is in any way good and that there isn't a ruling class even in communism, I was just saying that both Hitler and the Soviet leaders had common principles in their dictatorships. And communism is a horrible thing, I don't understand how you came to the conclusion that I am pro-communism.

@BlindEyeJones not just yes men in the studio either, but yes men across the country who nominate this kind of crap for awards. how obvious is the title of the song? you hate bush, ok i get it. but to take the most obvious possible choice of words to make a song, seems an obvious cashing in on the fact that there a millions of people who will buy it just because it badmouths bush. artistic integrity? its a mediocre song, with mediocre music. but because it bashes bush, people say its great.

@Ylviste you can use whatever words you learned in political science class you want, communism has been and still is usually a dictatorship. the people running things are NOT equal to the citizens they rule. Deny that. then look in the mirror and see a lying, hypocritical, radically liberal liar, even lying to themselves. Name one communist nation where the leader and his (it's ALWAYS a man, btw) close underlings are equal to the regular citizens (their peasants). NAME ONE.
