Pauley Perrette came up with this great line Obama 08 Oh Yeah. She made T-shirts with it, and we took dozens to the DNC and gave them out. Then a song clicked in my head with lyrics: It's About Us, the people working hard but can't even fill the car. It's About Us, the people without cash to buy enough gas. Obama, 08, Oh Yeah. It's About Us, the people on the bus don't usually make a fuss. It's About Us, the people fighting wars so oilmen can score. Obama, 08, Oh Yeah. 8 Is Enough. No more Bushy stuff. More of the same. Would be so insane. It's About We, parents and grandparents, toddlers and teens. It's About We, lacking health care and a way to succeed. Obama, 08, Oh Yeah.
