this is a song that after a brief introduction has an aABAaBABAC (little a theremin solos) structure and is base on the idea of blending the tradtional river baptism song with the hanging song ('o death' for instance) where the song is about the request to be baptized and thus be made eligible for heaven and more importantly, to escape the fires of hell, first being made to the judge, then the hangman, then the gravedigger.
