I have a CD button instead of the MODE button. I just bought my e46 used with this ipod interface installed and I can't figure out how to get the ipod to play. I have tried everything apart from taking it apart and seeing if the cable is connected. I would like to see if there's something I'm doing wrong before I take the whole radio unit apart. Thanks!

@brewcrew21pt You should be able to get audio and charging but I am unsure if the app will be controlled with the DICE.

HI , I just installed the ipod adaptor in my 2002 M3. The ipod works fine and can change songs from the wheel. My question is will a iphone work with the same hook up and when the phone rings , will the music stop for me to answer with the wheel?
