This is a very simple how to video on the commonly used Talking sound that you can hear in a lot of modern dubstep / electro / drum n bass and more. This video involves Ableton Live and only the plugins found within that DAW. This trick has been used by so many artists: Skrillex and Doctor P are 2 that I can name off the top of my head.

The track in the beginning of the video is my own track which can be heard on my soundcloud, and on my upcoming album due out in late 2011.

  • yayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayay

  • if you turn the A oscillator to square D rather than sine and the B oscillator to a saw D and the C to a sine 8 bit you get a more dirty yay/yoy sound (:

  • ayy ayy :D like it
