Yes, the point of the video is to show that brewing IS easy.
The video notes a sanitizing agent is needed for making beer and shows how to prepare a solution for sanitizing. It also shows to sanitize all materials that come into contact with the wort.
Yes, beer is better in a glass, but drinking it out of a bottle is not a "mistake." The beer was being served at a friend's home, and so I didn't wish to create dishes. Also, there was no sediment, so that was not a problem.
