Here is a hairstyle I created based on the popular TV show Mad Men. It is a versatile style and looks good with any type of outfit or dress. Hope you like it!

  • would it look bad to leave the bottom down and just curl it? im trying to find a hairstyle for an air force christmas party and im channeling joan holloway in the red ava dress from pin up couture.

  • @daviskrisitna Hey hun!

That sounds awesome! Hmmm to be honest I would wear it up, if thats the look you are going for...not sure the roll in the front would look right if you wore it down and curly too. xoxo

  • Could you start zooming out more while filming? I would love to see the full picture!

  • @Puffley Well I am about to change up the entire way I film my tutorials! Its going to be wayyyy better and more exciting and detailed..less talking more showing!

  • Freakin' Thank You!

  • Excellent!!!

  • Very classy and glamorous. My hair appears to be a very similar length and texture to yours, so you've given me hope that I can do this on my own hair. I tried it, though, and really had trouble starting the roll. Maybe it's because my hair is layered, but I couldn't roll up a chunk of hair without pieces sticking out this way and that and not wanting to roll up nicely. I'll keep working on it, though....

  • I did this for New Year's and got tons of compliments!!! Thank you!! I love it!!

  • LOVE IT! I also love your mole haha

  • i think the roll in front is technically late 40's than early 50's (sorry, Im a wig designer for a theatre so im picky with dates :) really nice tutorial thou
