This was an Ash stump with a double crotch that I thought might have some nice figure. It didn't, but still looks okay just because of the shape of it. Win some lose some, but I had some requests to post it up so here it is.

  • Is that a 394 husqvarna?

  • @GMCsierra1500 It's a 395 XP - replaced the 394. Essentially the same saw, but the 395 has some minor improvements. Some believe the 394 has more torque, but once a 395 has the EPA worked around & both saw are on equal footing, I don't think the 394 can out-cut a 395. And since the 395 has 4 transfer ports to the 394's two, I would think a 395 could be modded to noticeably out-perform a 394. Still looking into that. I know my 372 XP cuts like a banshee and I only did a muffler mod on it.

  • thats a bloody big chainsaw.. love it

  • @ImDaveCrazy Glad you like it. I watched your Lamborghini video, that was cool too. I'd trade my chainsaw for one of those. ;-)

  • @kevjay777 Thanks mate, do you work in the timber industry as i can honestly say it must be quite hard to come across a lump that size, especially her in the UK. I have to make my tables out of old barn doors.. All the weird shaped outside tables sell for a fortune here in the UK and they are just rough with a buffed surface and waxed, 2500 quid. I think i need to buy myself a beat of a saw like yours, not sure i would be able to lift the thing though. haha

  • @ImDaveCrazy Dave, I work for myself & have an online-only sawmill. This isn't logging country, but has tons of good timber everywhere you look. This means most landowners don't consider their timber worth anything since there's no local market. We're primarily a farming & ranching region so I get free timber just for hauling it off. Often the owner will cut it because they're clearing land for pasture or field. My wife & I built our house with free logs that we milled ourselves. We're blessed.

  • thats one big ass fuckin chainsaw

  • man id hate to hand sharpen that chain

  • Hi! Are we not men? This saw looks extreme. I enjoyed the video. The outside pieces look like two giant animal paws. I am not suggesting that you sculpt a giant animal. They could be sticking out of the ground. Just add claws on top of the fingertips. It's not nice to wipe your hand in the grass. You could also step back on the greasy spot and slip? Your hand should not be getting greasy. Use a round paintbrush to insert in the oil bottle. Finally, do not count on me to carry your big saw.

  • Wow! That is awesome...it's huge!!!! :O

  • @kevjay777 Haven't had the chance to experience the 395. A friend of mine has a 394 on a mill, seems to work pretty well. Definitely need to push the decompression button on these ones!
