Oh My Jonas Ep. 179- Happy People

Demi woke up slowly, forgetting where she was. She looked around and remembered she was on the small bunk.

Demi grabbed her shoes and carefully climbed down. Right as her feet touched the floor, the bus turned and she smacked into the opposite bunk.

Demi: Ow -She carefully slipped on her shoes and went out to the front.-

Nick and Selena were slouched on a couch asleep.

Kevin was staring at his phone, still at the booth with Frankie across from him on the laptop.

The bus stopped and Demi looked out a window.

They were in a driveway so she assumed they'd arrived.

Mr. Jonas got up and went out to start unloading bags. Kevin got up to wake up Nick and Selena and Frankie ran off the bus.

Mrs. Jonas emerged from the back with Joe behind her.

He had his wool coat on, unbuttoned and was still wearing his thin white hood. He comes over to Demi.

Joe: Hey.

Demi: Hi.

They walked off the bus.

Demi: You don't look too good.

Joe: It's starting to get better actually.

Demi: That's good.

They grabbed their heavy duffel bags and Nick and Selena followed them to the door.

Joe knocked and a small old lady answered.

Joe: -Smiles.- Grandma!

Demi smirks and Joe kisses his Grandma's cheek.

(AN: What am I supposed to call her?? Grandma?? Haha, mmkay.)

Grandma: Joseph. How are you?

Joe: A little under the weather but I'm good.

Grandma: Well, come on in. All of you.

They all pile inside the huge house and are joined by the rest of the family.

Grandma: Who are these two young ladies?

Selena: Well, I-

Grandma: You must be Demi -Takes Selena's hand.- I've heard great things about you.

Kevin: Grandma, that's Demi -Points.-

Grandma: So very sorry! -Goes over to Demi.- Nice to meet you.

Demi: -Giggles.- Hi.

Grandma: You can call me Grandma Alice or Alice or Grandma. Whichever you prefer.

Demi: Okay -She looks at Joe and he smirks.-

Their Grandpa comes in and there's hugging and greeting and everything. Then a little girl comes running down the hall. Demi guessed it was Erin.

Erin: Jooooooooooey!

Joe bent down and scooped Erin up.

He kissed her forehead and she kissed his nose back and then wrapped her arms around Joe's neck.

They looked remarkably a lot alike. Erin had long black wavy hair, chocolate eyes, and both features just like Joe's. Her nose and eyes were set in the same way and her lips were a mirror image of Joe's own.
She could be his daughter.

Erin: I missed you.

Joe: Me too.

He put her down a moment later and she says hello to everyone but comes back to Joe.

Two young adults come in and introduce themselves as Mark and Laura. The boys Uncle and Aunt. Mark is Paul's younger brother so it's all their Dad's side.

A boy Frankie's age comes in and is introduced as Riley. The boys' Grandpa Joe speaks up. He is who Joe is named after, haha.

Grandpa: So, Joe, I hear you're not feeling too well.

Joe: Yeah, it's beginning to pass.

Grandpa: Well, your Grandma made her homemade tea just for you. You want some?

Joe: Yeah, I'd love some.

Grandpa: Okay, you can go up an get settled and it'll be waiting here for you.

Joe: Thanks.

Grandma: Take whichever rooms you want. There's plenty, the house is huge.

Everyone goes upstairs to find a room. Joe leads the way to his old room, still holding Erin in his arm, his bag in the other. He gets the door open and Demi follows him inside.

Demi: It's so small.

Joe: Yeah, but it has it's own bathroom.

They set their bags down and go back downstairs.

Joe gets his tea. They all take seats in the living room in front of a blazing fire.

Mrs. Jonas starts filling everyone in on whats been going on and who Demi and Selena are and the girls learn a bit about the boys' family.

Frankie and Riley are both quietly playing with some toys on the floor. Erin was slouched in Joe's lap. All little girls seemed to love Joe the best. Demi had to admit that Erin and Em were a lot alike. Joe was sitting on the couch, drinking his tea, and Demi was on the floor, leaning against his legs.

Selena was next to her on the floor as they listened to tons of childhood stories from everyone. Demi looked over at Selena and smiled.

It was nice to spend a happy Christmas with happy people. All her recent Christmass didn't end too well.

After a little while, everyone dispersed doing their own thing while dinner was started.

After 10 minutes or so, Grandma came into the living room. (AN: I feel weird calling her Grandma..what else could I call her???)
