Elton John Live at Earl's Court 12 May 1976 on the first leg of the "Louder than Concorde(but not quite as pretty)" Tour. Cindy Bullens is the backup singer in the striped shirt. Cindy is a Boston girl who while working as a backup singer crashed a studio party in 1975 and was asked to go on the road for the "West Of The Rockies" tour. Cindy would have her 1st hit in 1979 with "Survivor" and the rest is history. This was Elton's peak without Question! Great tour and band!

We saw this tour at Belle Vue in Manchester, man. united had just lost to Southampton (1-0)in the F.A. cup at Wembley. The drummer Roger Pope was from Southampton (did he ever get a BIG cheer). There was also a bomb scare about half way through, Elton was the last one to leave the stage. Happy days indeedy! Brill show, my ears were nearly bleeding.
