Whatever you have to think so sleep better at night. Look at the facts: Horsepower this evo= 400hp stock Z06= 505hp Aerodynamics evo = barn door Z06= sports car weight evo= ~3250lbs Z06= ~3150lbs The Corvette has absolutely every advantage. Of course a 400hp evo would get spanked by a stock Z06.

why u guys compare a lancer evo vs a corvette z06? we all know that by putting an intake and exhaust the evo has NO chance beating it even if it was hell of modded

FQ400 is for rich street cred. Everyone knows you can make a stock Evo faster for less money. I own a base IX and not a FQ edition since I'm in the USA. I see more Corvettes than I do Evo's, it's a rare car here and none are available within 200 miles of my zip. Not to mention my car with 51,000 miles still bluebooks for 24.5K and a quick glance at autotrader shows almost none going for less than $2K over bluebook. Not even a BMW holds value like that.

For six figures, it better win over a little Evo. Once moving, AWD has less benefits sure. The track reflects that. I'm talking about daily driving mine, even in 1.5ft of snow. It moves just like a 4x4 truck, just without the tall ground clearance. AWD is best when the car is stopped and has to get moving quickly in all conditions.

Remember the Evo is cheap and about practicality.

Not true. AWD only helps accelerating out of a corner. The Corvette can still pull more Gs, still out brake you, and still pull to a higher top speed in the wet. Ever watch SCCA racing in the wet? The AWD advantage is not THAT big in the wet. Not nearly as big as how much faster a Z06 is than an EVO. The ZR1 ran the Top Gear test track under damp conditions and still smoked the hell out of a FQ400 in the dry.

How good is the Corvette when it's raining? Surely the Corvette has videos of them having fun in the snow like the Evo's do right?

I have an Evo IX and it's humorous that other sports cars can't even keep up when the weather is on their side. Their car only performs well in one set of conditions. Hot sticky dry road. Anything else and the Evo is going to win.

@mrcomedy454 uhh they have lap times of evo's and corvettes of every year around the nurburgring, even the slowest corvettes beat the fastest evo's by at least 30seconds.
