"Recontextualized" scene from the 1977 film "The Sentinel", exploiting the ambiguous tone of the proceedings to transform late 70s "horror" into late 70s sitcom.
TODAY it would be considered "homophobic" to portray gays and lesbians like THAT, .. . as really weird and kinde of perverted and evil. But this was the 1970's, .. . still before they got TOTALY liberal about it .
Really funny!!! Change the music, add a laugh track, and anything can suddenly be different. I might also add that speeding up the film and adding Benny Hill's Yakety Sax also works well, especially tragic events like Princess Di's funeral or the Battle of Stalingrad. Try it some time. Good stuff!!!
