Anyone that disrespects JD has absolutely no idea how much respect he shows to the songs. What would you do if your favorite band ever offered you the spot as their front man? If you thought you could do the songs justice, you'd probably take the offer. He was and will remain the best secondary front man they've had. This Ciaran guy disrepects the songs with his shameful presentation but I still don't blame him.

It was Joe Elliott of Def Leppard who discovered me in May of '83 while on tour promoting Pyromania. Mutt Lange who produced the album also had produced the Aussie band AC/DC's Highway to Hell and brought INXS to meet me in Jun of '83 when I fell in love with Hutch. I nicknamed him Max after he told me about the movie Mad Max and why he named his side project Max Q. Def Lep had been on tour with Billy Squier before I met them & used "In the dark" at the beginning of this song when I wrote it.

All of you giving JD a bad rap piss off. Yes I know MH was a great singer and is sorely missed but if it wasn't for JD singing there more than likely would not be an INXS anymore. He is a great singer and even though he may be trying to copy MH nothing can change the fact that he is a great singer. You all need to stop being so critical of someone doing their job to try and keep die hard fans of INXS, ones who would kill to have MH back but listen anyway, happy.
