This Memphis, Tennessee Stax Records mainstay was formed by Norman West (formerly of The Del-Rios), and included the talents of John Colbert aka J. Blackfoot, Anita Louis and Shelbra Bennett. The group was formed by Isaac Hayes and David Porter in order to fill the gap that Sam & Dave had left after parting from the Atlantic record label. They scored 15 R&B hits between 1968 and 1978.

The difference between you and I is he doesn't have to lie to me. I see him for what he truly is and I accept it. He lies to you. Everything you think you have is wrong. wow some of these comments are really sad...Bottom line is those who cheat are piss poor morally you can try and justify it by saying he or she is not happy at home he or she lies to there spouse but doesnt lie to you really? by defintion a cheater is a LIAR thats what they do ...but you tell yourself what ever you need to....... to get you thru the thru the night

@salsera59 Why should he have his cake and eat it too! How spiritually devoid must one be to settle for a piece of a man and be the woman on the side. As I said before try cheating on him and see how long the relationship lasts! Men can smell desperation and that's the smell that let's them know what they can get away with...and the scent they will never take seriously! Great song though!

And most of the time,its just about sex,who says love has to be in the picture. Tina Turner said it most beautifully,'Whats love got to do with it'. Perhaps its boring at home with the hubby and most men have that testostorone issue? Regardless girls,dont be so quick to judge.
