Maui's own Shane Victorino introduces the Flyin' Hawaiian Poke at Foodland Hawaii. Foodland Corporate Chef Keoni Chang and Denis Scott, Director of Marketing for Foodland, help announce Shane Victorino's new flavor, The Flyin' Hawaiian Poke. 25¢ from each pound of Shane's Flyin' Hawaiian Poke sold will be donated to the Shane Victorino Foundation to support disadvantaged youth in Hawaii.   • Now for the recipe itself: looks like it might be too spicy for me, and I've developed a taste for spicy foods since moving to Texas. But I think I will try some version of this, because it doesn't call for limu seaweed. That's the one ingredient I can't find here.

  • Good on Victorino for lending his name to a local business from his old stomping grounds, and for also helping out those who need it. A goodly number of people have wealth, and quite a few have talent. Some have decency and heart. Victorino has all of that, and I respect that a lot.
