  • If he was unhappy, wouldnt he just run away? there is no way he would trust and listen to this guy if he didnt respect and love him. Hes going on the bit when there is no bit!!! that is the horses choice, and he wouldnt do that if he wasnt happy. And most riders use a whip or a crop anyway! he is not thrashing the horse, just giving him the aids.

  • @Cass7422 are you freaking kidding me?? you clearly have no idea what you're talking about, dressage horses are perfectly happy and calm (at least with the right dressage rider). UGH, i hate people like you who just assume the wrong things, in areas they know nothing about. read a book.

  • it is simple people this horse has it's ears back because it is completely cued in on what the "alpha" is telling it to do. this horse is not angry or scared, it is simply listening and trying to please it's leader, the person.

  • this guy is amazing! he does great work with horses!

  • The bond between him and his horse is ABSOLUTELY amazing. The horse is treating him like a friend playing in the field. The whip is used as an extension of his arm not as a weapon which is perfect. The horse never takes his eyes off of him even with everyone clapping. They both have so much respect for each other. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.

  • Animal cruelty?! Rubbish! Do you think that horse would perform so well if the person was being cruel? Of course not!! Gosh, think before you type...

  • wow :D

  • WAHNSINN :)

  • @8664tonimarie Horses tail swish at annoyance, to push other horses away, at annoyance at flies, and also with people, look at the entire picture, ears, front, back, tail, yes he's annoyed.

  • as far as his tail swishing, you don't know if there are flys on him. maybe even one. there was a fly on my horse and it drove him nuts. also horses do that sometimes when they are paying CLOSE attention to what they are doing. wild horses swish their tales 24/7 when they run and they're happy! then their ears are back a little when they are listening. when their ears are forward all the way they aren't listening to a THING you say. they aren't cruel by using whips either (not if they don't hurt

  • ppl need to understand that everyone has their own oppinion on things. just because someone has a different oppinion doesn't mean you can chew them out. knock it off with the rude comments and nasty remarks. you don't have to agree because if everyone agreed on everything there'd be a problem. everyone has their own oppinion about EVERYTHING. (that's why it's called oppinion and not fact) stop being so mean because you NEVER know if it's some third grader commenting on something they think
