Hopefully Sheets is going to be healthy this season. And I agree with you on the comment about Geren! he needs to be out of there.

Thats what i think the rotation should be We dont really need damon it would be a waste of money I agree i dony want geren , anymore since he's taken over we have had three losing seasons.I went to game last year against the yankees 8/19/09 we had a runner at first and tommy eviridge was up and he hit into a DP, in the eighth inning we lost 3-2 , you cant expect a young guy to hit a HR , especially since we are a team thats lacks power

Only problem is, he's in his 30s and he has a small contract. While the A's could get a good return, I wouldn't expect them to get any elite/top prospects in return.

Sheets is one of my favorite pitchers, so I'd love to see him pitch well (and stay off the DL).
A's lineup still isn't great, but it might be good enough, as they have one of the top pitching staffs in the AL (if not in the majors). Hard to say who will win the division.

Eh I was hoping the Mariners could pick him up but the spending money isn't there. I think he'll pitch higher in the A's rotation if he's healthy and ready to go. Good luck in the season

only time will tell... but the market is thin. They don't want a type B free agent and give up a draft pick. We seem to fail when signing type A or type B agents.... Sheets fit that category.
