@AgeOfReclamation yeah imperial are great, i mean for fewer points you get more soldiers and more mathematical superiority, so they can kill a number of soldiers but you will still have the superior numbers and mathematical superiority,

IG can easily win short battles tho if they keep getting assaulted and their numbers keep dropping so does the proportionallity of their damage, which means they lose even more power in lower numbers...

Thats their only problem, except for that they are great!

The interesting thing about imperial is that they have a mathematical advantage in a straight-up infantry firefight against Necrons or Astartes of any kind, thats why i love em so much.

Anyways i wonder why people say the Imperial guard sucks, if they are like 1 guardsmen squad here and one there they die ,, but if you have huge numbers OR tactics they can pwn a wall of spess mehreens, and i also played the space marines so i know pretty much both them and the IG...

While the leman russ could do for IG, it would be harder for SM :D

OH wait no it wouldnt, you put marines in each drop pod and make a rain of steel of them right over the enemy (>150p)
