It was highly reguated. In fact that was the actual cause of the failure of the economy.

Ever hear of the community reinvestment act. Started back in Jimmy Carter's administration, but picked up speed during the 90s under Clinton and finally led to the mess we are in today . Without the CRA we would be just fine. Thanks to the commies who know exactly what they are doing. Systematically de-constructing capitalism towards the goal of wealth redistribution n the form of spreading the poverty.

I don't know where you live bro' but where I live here in SoCal there is plenty of help for homeless people. Emergency services. clinics, even dental services/ A montly income from the state for wine or booze or grass or whatever. food stamps are available. You are full of el crappola

RE TAMARLANE - If I got sick and had to actually go to the hospital I'd go broke & maybe even end up homeless. I live paycheck to paycheck for the most part. There are very few or virtually NO services for people who aren't homeless and aren't dirt poor. I get by, but I can't afford hundreds of dollars in medical fees if I got sick, much less thousands... What about the lower middle class? And those living right at or just above the poverty line?

I actually know quite a lot about it. I know that democrats voted down proposals to regulate it more. I know that democrats caused it in the first place with their "community reorganization" legislation that forced lenders to lend to people unqualified to pay for their loans.

I think they can pass it if they want to. I think they will pay for it at the polls. I think they are all power drunk and insane.
