did u get it fixed by removing the HD or something? PLEASE HELP!!!

You need to go to the web and find the NVIDIA class action case which should soon be settled. Bad video cards have been found in Apple, Dell, and HP laptops. You might have one of those MacBook Pros and can become a part of the claim and hopefully we will get new cards.

@cameronreilly you call this a reasonable explanation..?
-
what was wrong with it?
because my MBP is like that as well.
-
How do you fix it? Mine just had that problem 2 days ago ._.

I have a MacBookPro of 15 inches, which presented problems with the video card, I am the black screen. It takes it to an authorized center of Apple and they said to me that still it was in guarantee and that including for the people which no.

@MacOSXMason yes I couldnt have said it any better, All these PC fan boys complain about how macs cant run games and that apples computers are built poorly. This mac is 3-4 years old. Apple fixed almost all the design problems, unibody. And what did Microsoft do to fix their problem? Said fuck this mess and made a operating system that looks oh so familiar to the OS X theme. And If Microsoft made their own PC's. They would be faulty, Then 3 years later steal apples last generation design..

dude, My mac does that too, If you look at the display closely you can see the display is on, But the backlight isnt. But you didnt observe the problem very well. When you open it, play with the brightness keys a little, Close it, open it, close it again.. open and see if it will come on, It almost always does. if not just open it and play with the brightness keys and do that process again, hitting the power button does oh sweet fuck all :)

@MacOSXMason. 100% Agree.

Apple: only has like 50-150 viruses
PC:OVER 140,000 VIRUSES
Macs rule.
dude, you're an asshole to people they're trying to help you and you're being a prick to them

dude for real that same thing happened to mine but I fixed it in like 10 seconds. It was pretty simple too.

well that's wonderful Sam. Are you going to tell me what you did to fix it? Or keep my in suspense?

you ever heard of taking it to a computer store to get it fixed? its pretty simple these days.

are you sure there is something to be fixed? it's only a couple of months old. Someone told me it probably happens when I move the laptop before it goes to sleep properly, which then activates the Sudden Motion Sensor and disengages the hdd. Sounds like a reasonable explanation to me.
