This is a very rare Jamaican pressing of an American record. American R&B music was quite popular in Jamaica and some American labels had distribution deals with Jamaican pressing plants.. In this case, the American company Federal Records made a distribution deal with the Jamaican company Federal (different companies that went by the same name). I would presume that not many of these were made.

  • WOW! This is a killer doo wop song! Love it! Thanks PJ!

  • Glad you're enjoying it so much

  • Yes, I really enjoy Jamaican doo wop!

  • This is actually a Jamaican pressing of an American doo wop record.

  • I like this, the lead vocal and the harmony. Apparently from 1963. Thanks very much.

  • The King Pins are one of the greatest obscure groups out there.. Just about every 45 they did on Federal has at least one good side. Their 45 on Vee Jay "A Lonely Guy" is also very good.
