This was originally going to be a typical "Airplanes" remix, in terms of me using the original instrumental, while Haafizah contributed her amazing voice; but we got lucky. I recently stumbled on violinist Eric Stanley, on Youtube, and he has a HUGE following, and I was completely floored by his talent in not only playing, but covering some of my favourite hip-hop instrumentals. Lo and behold he covered the Airplanes instrumental and I HAD to ask him permission to use it. Lucky me, he responds to me the next day on his fanpage, out of a whole steady stream of fans, and gives us the go ahead! Eric, I gotta thank you man, you're gift brought out the best in both mine and Haafizah's performances.
