Democracy 2.0 - Demosophy

Demosophy aka "The Wisdom of the people", as opposed to Democracy, power to a large, or small 'majority' of people. The core belief of Demosophy is that, as James Surowiecki* puts it, "the many are smarter than the few".

This ethic I believe also holds true, in specific, to the relationship between politicians and public citizens. The equal and representative aggregate wisdom of all individual citizens, by experience and moderate contemplation, on matters within their grasp, should be far superior to that of the ideological whims and fancies of their elected dictators.
