you guys let it burn

wow is right. those old houses go up quick with all that 90+ year old lumber. it seems like they just let it burn? I know that's not the case but after the backside flashed I didn't see any action. It's sad to see that go. I love those old houses. It was and is still for sale but before the fire they wanted way too much. Has anyone been in there since to look around? I'm surprised it hasn't been torn down yet. I'd buy it if cheap and salvage what I could like floors, siding, doors, mantles...

i got you, well keep up the good work and stay safe
We didn't "let it burn". Getting access to "the seat" of the fire is difficult at times (locating attic accesses and such). I promise everything was done to extinguish that fire from inside until we had to go defensive. We are as aggressive as anyone in the country, but sometimes they just get away.

@superjimbob22 They didn't let it burn. When I took this, they had just started the work on the fire. The house was abandoned and i am sure even moving inside was frought with broken floorboards and stairs. I didn't film all their work but, trust me, the firefighters there worked hard to save that house.....and did. it's still heavily damaged but could be fixed!
