Colette Valois (Karine Vanasse) sang Germany Anthem in Pan Am episode 3, I clipped this since this actress preformed this sense incredibly well

  • I don't understand she told him " I'll make it up to you" by singing the anthem that hurts her...why

  • @HerrWagnerfreund The French, will get there's, all French Independence tours cancelled, damm yuppies don't support us against terrorism

  • And why haven't the aggressive French never been punished for the dozens of wars they commenced against Germany? For the territories they stole as? For the slavery they forced upon the Germans living in those territories? Why are only we the evil guys because of ONE war whereas the Frenchies are the good guys?

  • @HerrWagnerfreund The past is the past, and the Thrid Reich as villianous as they were, was crushed. Not at the hands of Pepe LePeau, but by the vengeful fist of Uncle Sam, the Great U.S. OF A..if history taught us anything, dont bully no one, cause his Big friend the "sleeping giant" will get his

  • @sajedalalo i didn't see the episode but i think that she really wasn't sorry at all...

  • I don't know the context (since I didn't see the episode) but ... this is the most moving rendition of a national anthem since the singing of La Marseillaise in the movie Casablanca. How appropriate.

  • @sajedalo @swansong95 The main point of singing this is that these lyrics were banned after WWII for its association with the nazis. This is the cause of the embarrassment of some people in the party.

  • Ooooooo, those poor Frenchmen who did never ever attack Germany and subjugate German territory (like Alsace and Lorraine in the 16th and 17th century). They are so unbelievably poor because we Germans actually defeated them ONCE. They're obviously not used to it as most of the time, they were the aggressor and unfortunately won most wars.

  • love her

  • wish someone would upload this in better quality, amazing scene. :)
