It is an ironic juxtaposition: One involves a meaningless ritual in which we look to a creature of little intelligence for prognostication, and the other involves a groundhog.

Anyway, iwhile there is a shadowed corruption behind the U.S. Government, the probability of all elections being a sham and all presidents figure heads is extremely low. An operation on that kind of scale is too large to keep secret for long. Some elections are legit, while others are capable of being rigged, but not all.

If it's all a lie, someone, somewhere, would be bound to flub or simply out the operation. It would be too large to keep secret from everyone.
