  • @ryan9710 Well it was staged as a concert and not a theatrical production...

  • Ramin is just damn sexy. Both enjolras' are great for different reasons

  • I think Ramin is better than Michael. Yes Michael sings it well and is very assured but Ramin is far more expressive and passionate and acts the part better rather than just standing there and singing it. The only thing missing from the 25th anniversary version is a decent Marius. Nick is very poor and should never have been asked to take part. I can understand their reasons for asking him but he simply isn't good enough.

  • I think the movement in the 10th anniversary was poorly done, there are many times were the actors just stand around awkwardly, however the singing is superb

  • @KatyHallow I agree, both Michael Maguire and Ramin Karimloo were fantastic! I had been looking for the words to describe Michael's Enjolras, and you provided the perfect description-"very assured, not at all afraid, and a bit strict". Michael's Enjolras seems to lead by commanding people to follow him, while Ramin's Enjolras does the soft sell, acting like one of them while recruiting them.

  • I like both his portrayal and Ramin's portrayal for different reasons. Michael seems very assured, not at all afraid, and a bit strict. Ramin's Enjolras is a bit more scrappy and impulsive but extremely passionate. It's really up in the air at this point, as I really like them both.

  • I love how Gavroche rolls his eyes, shakes is head, and glares like, "Yeah, bitches. You shoud've listened to me."

  • @TheVideosrock For me, stacking Ramin Karimloo up against Michael Maguire is like stacking Samantha Barks up against Salonga and Ruffelle. Karimloo's a great actor with a great voice, but he'll never be as good as Maguire. Ditto Barks - good, even great, but not as good as Salonga and Ruffelle.

  • @easterbunny13 Oh I know! I can still hear his whiny vocals. :(

  • @awkarla agreed! i was so disapointed when i heard the newer version... this song was my first tattoo... not only that but my mom and sister got matching ones with me... nick should never have gotten the part...
