no brother that is not what we are told at all... we are called to love and serve one another... not to sit on our hands going holy holy holy till the Christ returns. We have to take seriously what Christ commands 'love one another as I have loed you' Christ, died for us we must die for one another.. love demands we work towards the liberation of our persecuted brethren... nothing less will do!

No , what you suggested was to form Christian fighting militias that is a direct contradiction to the faith. We are indeed told to wait , it is not our place to avenge the deaths of our brothers but to be patient and wait for the day of the Lord

Brother you could not be more wrong! Firstly, this not about avenging anyone, but deffending and liberating the oppressed. Secondly Christ commanded us to love and serve one another, to meet one anothers needs. The only way to meet the needs of the persecuted church is to work towards their liberation. Christ even says that you can not be saved unless 'you do to the least of these' 'these my brothers'. Look at the parable of last judgement, sitting on your hands is not an option.

Christ is the prince of peace the divine conqueror, Rev 11 v 15 - 18, Rev 19 v 11 – 21. We should remember that this future is invading our present. Rev 13 v 9 – 10, in particular is interesting as it has two possible interpretations, that the persecution is inevitable, or that it is a reference to the just punishment of the persecutors. Christians are called to live this future reality and so we should also conquer the oppressors of the church. Revelation is a call to activism not apathy.

Oh dear, now I see the calibre of the man I am debating. Brother, no one who knws the Bible would deny the following: we are to love and serve one another in Christ. That we are to meet one anothers needs and lay our lives down for one another. That we can not claim to have loved GOD if we do not love one another, therefore, WE MUST SEEK THE LIBERATION OF OUR CHRISTIAN BROTHERS AND SISTERS. Nothing less will do. It’s in Matthew 5:26 and other passages. Now, let’s not act like Muslims ourselves, Sunnis saying Shiites aren’t Muslims, Shiites saying Sunnis aren’t Muslims. If you check out the list of atrocities in the description, you’ll see that there’s no distinction between Evangelicals and Catholics among the persecuted. A Christian is a Christian. We’re all in the same boat.
