I tried it on 4.0 and get error also.

the error says: program received signal: "SIGABRT"

I don't know if it work on older simulators but 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3 works fine.

@NecTube hey dude this code works on all versions tried and tested it is also the official code apple has given out you may have mistyped something or have an error within your project arguing with your iad code

Thank you for such an excellent tutorial. I found this only works on 4.1 or higher. Is there any chance of making an iAd tutorial that work on lower versions?

How do you add iAd to a second page? like when using storyboard? and could you also do a tutorial on how to remove iAs with in-App purchase, and maybe possibly how to unlock more content with in-App purchase Thanks

How do you get it to disappear out when a banner does not populate. Using this code when I dont get an iAD i get a blank white background

i am unable to get this code to work on the latest XCode (running on my IOS 5 iPhone). No errors, but the white box stays when there isn't an Ad available. The white box remains there until the test iAd by apple is shown, then after a few clicks (to different screens) the white box is back.

@GeekyLemon Hey, I have an app with multiple views (thanks to you) and have pasted this code from one view to another, and when i run it, i sometimes get the error in the debug thread:
