Here it is. Late as usual. The www.hornblasters.com Shocker 240 train horn video. This is the ultimate accessory for anyone who ever needs to get the attention of some moron on the street. I would like to thank Tony, my old service manager, and everyone who attended the 2011 Christmas parade in Canton, Ga for tolerating the ridiculously loud horn on video. FYI this horn is supposed to be heard for almost 4 miles.

  • Do I have to have a seperate switch for the compressor? or does it all do with the horn button, I want one, But if i have to flip a bunch of switches for my horn to honk, I dont see why its worth it

  • @theonlyman9319 I have a shut off switch under the hood for the compressor. I've never shut it off. The tank has a pressure switch that controls the compressor. I use the OE horn switch & relay. The OE horn is currently disconnected.

  • So,how do you like that shop?Looks like one of those closed in carport style with the square tubing frame.Thinking fo getting one and wondered how they work out.How bad is the temps in the summer and is it even remotely heatable in the winter?

  • @SPUPRR Yes, it is the carport style thing with walls & doors. I need to get it spray insulated. I've worked in it when it was over 100F inside with a small fan blowing on me. There was a winter when I worked in it that it was 14F inside. I have a high ceiling for the lift to fit & it is 30 x 30. A single kerosene torpedo heater is good to keep it toasty inside in the winter. The people who assembled it are out of business. I don't think they owned a level. It leaks rain too.

  • That must be ridiculously loud. Can you still use your other horn?

  • @alyosha1974 I can if I reinstall the OEM horn fuse & disconnect the train horn. Not that I would want to.

  • WIN :)

  • that is a lot of unneeded weight for a stupid horn upgrade
