Un jugador que rebolucionó en los años 90 y pasó al siglo XXI siendo ya una estrella. En la NBA ha jugado en equipos como Golden State Warriors, New York Knicks y Minesota Timberwolves respectivamente, y en la NCAA militó junto al actual jugador de los San Antonio Spurs, Robert Horry, en la universidad de Alabama. No ha pasado a la historia por sus récords ni tampoco ha estado a la altura de otras leyendas en su posición como Michel Jordan o Clyde Drexler, pero su manera de jugar enamoró a muchos y en los Knicks marcó una época.
