Here is the band P. K. Limited doing a cover of (at the time) a recently penned Michael Nesmith tune. This version closely followed the newly released 2nd version of the song from Rhino Handmade's "Instant Replay" deluxe boxed set. Famed pedal steel player and good friend of Nesmith's, Red Rhodes can be heard playing steel on this track. Although, the steel player on the recently released Monkees backing track is listed as "unknown", judging by the identical licks, we can assume it is also Red. The photo featured during this video is of Dan Peyton, Marty Kaniger, John London and Johnny Raines. The two recently released members of "The Lewis and Clarke Expedition" never did officially join P. K. Limited. They just shot a promo photo. Johnny Raines did work on at least one session for the band. Enjoy this extremely rare, previously unavailable tune.
