  • What on earth was he cutting? ROCKS! I own global as well as Shun and afew Sabatiers and Henkels, but more to the point if mine were lent out and returned like that I would have blown a fuse with him. I honestly would have told him to keep the knife and buy me a new one. no respect what so ever.

  • @vandegevel1 I would have done the same, problem is the guy who owns these, "is not the sharpest knife in the box "

  • Wow!! I use Global and they are the tools that help me make a living, and would never loan then out. I feel bad for that guy though. Probably thought they were going to be used properly.

  • @tfitz44 Fixed on a bit..check my follow up vid

  • im looking at getting some global knives as they are the muts nuts, but OH MY GOD if a friend of mine had done that to my set of global knives i would cry for about 10 days at then butcher him with the buggered knife. did this guy have a grudge against his friend to do this to his knives or just is he just a plain idiot???

  • @smeegalblue Plain Idiot is my guess..... Thanks for the comment :o)

  • My jaw hit the ground when I saw this! Damn I would be beyond gutted if someone did this to my set of globals, ouchhhhhhhh. Some people just don't appreciate good tools, good luck.

  • and thats the reason why i don't like anyone else using my global.

  • I'll be interested to see how you approach that mess. Sharpening a knife properly is not rocket science. It is just common sense, patience and some time on water stones down taking it down to fine grits (Min 6-8000grit) I have never heard of anyone borrowing a set of knives, if they are that desperate give them $20 and tell them to buy a serated bread knife, it will do most things (in a fashion).

  • im getting globals soon and im never lending them to anyone...
