mugen twin loop exhaust gopro external mic test

angeles crest...mugen twinloop muffler. opened my new gopro up soldered some wires to the mic board. now i have a decent external mic. mic was placed 3 inches from muffler on the rear bumper. its not really this loud but wanted to get a good sound since most sound test are covered with wind noise and or too short to get any real sense of the muffler. more videos to come once my yamaha rz350 is finished.

its a stock '92 si engine, type r b-pipe and ek3 version mugen twin loop muffler. (ek3 version is a 2.25" donut size so no cutting the flange) the rattle sound is due to being at WOT at 7,300 rpm and having the mic up close and not inside the cabin. and yes its loud due to the external mic being 3 inches from the muffler. so gopro camera is inside on the windshield and i ran an external mic to the back rear bumper.

i used the mic off the hero. soldered a positive and negative to the board, drilled a hole at the top of the hero and have about 5 feet of wire to place it where i want. the new hero2 has a port now. so no need to do what i did.

Sounds a like a bit of a rattle when you get on it... Overall it does sounds good tho. If you dont mind me asking, what exhaust are you running? When I han the twin loop it wasnt any where near as loud.
