@Celiocobra1 Someone said that "Borodin is a composer who wrote the least amount of music to be considered immortal". As for the Mighty Five, they were all great except Cui, who is more famous for his scathing and unjust critique of Rachmaninoff's 1st Symphony than for any of his music.

Borodin was an incredible composer. All of the Five wrote incredible pieces but Borodin was unique in his many different styles of brilliant music where the others in the Five could only write one type well.

beautiful. i loved playing this piece. one of my best friends played the horn solo wonderfully. a work of true genius.
