You've got to love the polite, reasoned conversations that occur on YouTube boards. I'm open to considering different opinions, but facts from reliable sources are needed to back them up. And to my knowledge, the most reliable, comprehensive and up-to-date data, unequivocally supported by the international scientific community, comes from the 2,000+ scientists of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change - who assert that climate change is at least 90% likely to be caused by human actions.

Actually, 3Swoosh, while that rumour has been a popular counter to the overwhelmingly conclusive science of anthropogenic climate change, it is now clear that solar cycles are NOT the reason behind global warming. A new study is just about to be published in the scientific journal Proceedings of the Royal Society, which concludes that the sun's output has actually DECREASED over the last 20 years, while our planet has warmed the most. yes it's ok to use less gas, for pollution's sake. The other thing, the global warming is caused 6% by man and 94% by the sun's warm-cycle. The whole solar system is warming and that's a fact. So when these ads say you're the cause of whatever... it's lies.
