Soma started this tic recently. Unsure what is causing it.

UPDATE***We recently took Soma to a neurologist who said that her tics could be the result of PANDAS or a virus instead of strep; OCD; OR tourette syndrome. Obviously, we won't get a diagnosis of TS for at least a year, so we are basically still where we started. The only the we do know is that it is probably not caused by a tumor, seizure disorder, etc. More testing will be done at a later date.

  • i think its Motor Stereotypy

  • I also think those are motor stereotypy

  • Have you received a diagnosis? I, too, believe the movements look like Motor Stereotypy. My son was misdiagnosed by his doctor and a neurologist. It was my research online and videos here on youtube that lead me to self-diagnose my son's movements. He was almost 2 when they began (although, they can begin early in infancy). John Hopkins website has the most info on this subject.

  • what's that noise at the end?

  • yay

  • Hello, I am not a doctor, but to me it looks like it may be something called Motor Stereotypy. Just a suggestion, I hope that you get a diagnosis soon xx She is so precious.
