Three Long Island Cops Beat Down Handcuffed Detainee

One Riverhead, NY police officer is being sued after a 2007 video surfaced that shows three Long Island police officers forcing a handcuffed man to the ground and beating him.

The plaintiff is William Robinson, the man who was in police custody. The video shows him being shoved against a wall then falling to the floor.
Once down, he's repeatedly kicked and punched by the Riverhead police officers.

@BNSFnick never ceases to amaze me when so many people are QUICK to 'justify' violent actions of police. it DOES NOT matter what he did-he was cuffed,, period. Condoning that kind of action simply puts yourself on the same level as those 'murder or some shit like that.' If he committed a crime, arrest him; prosecute him; convict him; and the imprison him.
