  • pls pls and PLEASE !!!

tell me that does halogen give the right requirement for aqua plant too ??

  • @shadowfaithx Not a good choice, too hot and not an ideal spectrum. Stick to fluorescents in most cases.

  • What substrate are you using here? I just bought a substrate called black diamond that looks like this one. Now, I'm kind of new to this business and I don't know if I should mix the substrate with ... larger rocks or something. The thing is that I don't think the plants can root strongly enough to it.

  • @chizpa305 Eco-Complete, there is some Black Diamond under it... check out the link in the info box for more details on the tank and camera setup.

  • you want to look for T5HO flouro bulbs with a 6000 to 6500 K rating. great growth without the excessive algae that come with halides and LED systems that go up to 10,000K or higher.

  • @boorgvids sry , but i've proved that Halogen with UV actually speed up my plant x3 in growth and more greener ~~

i choosen halogen because it has the same ray as sun ^^

  • That is one of my favorite aquarium plant. I planted my 5 gallons Fluval Chi aquarium with them and I am waiting for them to spread through the entire area. I don't have any CO2 injection system on it and the lights are not that bright. but even tough they take a long time to spread, at least the plants look healthy.

    Nice video!!
