My entry to the Crossover Challenge in the So You Think You Can Vid contest. Since I missunderstood the rules at first, I only had a couple of days to make a new vid so this was a little stressful. I only hope it's good enough to get me through to the next challenge, if not; too bad :)

This is a crossover between Jane Austen from "Becoming Jane" and her own fictional character Elizabeth Bennet from "Pride and Prejudice". It shows the similarities between the relationships they share, except for the one big difference: only one of them have a happy ending.
At the end you can see Jane writing the happy ending she never had for Elizabeth.

  • Just because Jane didn't marry Lefroy doesn't mean she didn't have a "happy ending." We all know she found her wrting very fullfilling--and she wouldn't do anything to jeopardize that *including marriage.* Secondly, real Austenites know that BJ is glorified fanfiction and not true biography.

Those critiques made, your editing is spectacular and I'll be checking out your other videos when I find the time.

  • Yes I am aware of that.

This is simply my interpretation of the movie "Becoming Jane", which in my opinion did not have a "and-they-lived-happily-ever-after" ending.

  • the best crossover ever!!

  • Love the song choice. Personally, even though I'm an Austen fan (maybe not a real Austenite like FelicityKing), I did love Becoming Jane and that got me to loving and appreciating her and her writings. The editing was brilliant and you are great! I wish my editing was as great.
