Sophia says to CC she's very sorry and that everything is her fault. But CC remembers that he went to the study too the same evening as Sophia, and when he has seen the gun was empty, he has loaded it. Then CC says that Channing was their first child from the first year of their marriage.

Mason congratulates Cruz. Then he says to CC he's sorry.
