Portable GPS device, combines both a satellite communicator and GPS in one device. Figure out where you are, send messages to say whether youre OK or in trouble, and even send text messages up, through a satellite, to anyone!

Sure, its $500. But this is the ultimate device for anyone who enjoys adventure sports, off the grid! And its really cheap compared to the alternatives!

  • PN-60W!

    not PN-60

  • @GunZenBomZ Nice to know bacause I was thinking this device would be great for people that perfer to hitchhike if the device has difficulty tracking at highway speeds then it could be a problem for this segment of the market. Let me know if this problem has been resolved.

  • it really is one device in 2 pieces---they talk together wirelessly-they work as one

  • its not 2 devices in one -- its 2 devices in 2

  • I sell one cheaper because I am From Spain and it was a present for me and it do not rules in Spain. It is with USA & CANADA MAPS

    Look it in ebay.

  • actually its 2 devices in 2 devices... not 2 in 1... as there are two physical units?

  • Got a spot2 myself, the thing doesn't like tracking me on my motorbike above 60 mph.

Looking @ the PN-60, nice if it updates your location fast..

  • do you have to have a subscription for the spot portion?? with spot2 is cost 100 a year.

  • I have a PN-40. Most of the time it couldn't get any satellite signal. It is also not userfriendly. I have compared it with my Garmin. While my Garmin worked like a charm, my PN-40 was still searching for satellite signals (that it never got). Sorry to say, it's a piece of crap.
