Here is what I have been noticing more and more lately on YouTube-- Ther are some people out there who purposefully go to videos that speak about Christianity just to berate the people that are listening to them. It's ok to question, but to outright call people names and mock them for their beliefs is just spreading hate. It used to make me very angry. Now I just feel sorry for people like that. Hopefully one day their eyes will open.

Read your bible as the Lord for truth. Practice by His Spirit to live and grow like Him. If you are His you will follow. "Know their fruit" inspect it Jesus says. It may take time. Be willing to give up your life to save it. Be willing to be unblinded. You will make mistakes repent get back up. the "spirits in prison" part is misunderstood in 1 Peter 3:19...

What Peter is saying is that the same Spirit in Christ, God's Holy Spirit, preached long ago through Noah to the spirits that are now in prison, who disobeyed... Peter is basically saying the same type deal happened back then, as he also compares the saving of Noah and his family through a flood with us being saved from the ways of the world through the baptism of Jesus' death.
