  • I know fetters son I'm fifteen and so is he we are actually makin a band together with two other friends I'm the drummer and he Is actually the guitarist

  • @MrTacohobo

Let me know if you guys get anything on video !

  • What is it they say at the very start of the song?

  • @DevilHisDue0820

Back in the day, it was fashionable to play things backwards on rock records. To poke fun at this fad, the boys opened the record with, " I worship the dark mommy" played backwards.

  • @manhatin Really is that what they say at the beginning? I asked Bob Nyswonger once after a show in Cincy and he told me it was "My whole life flashed before I crashed". Then he just laughed. So I was never sure he if was really serious. Been wanting to know this for along time myself.

  • @DoctorJimmy1962

The line is "My whole life flashed before I crashed". The mommy line was something Fetters said to a fan once in jest. I was just havin' fun.

  • I remember when this song was played on all Cincinnati rock stations. It was a favorite on 96 Rock! I'm still kicking myself for discarding my Raisins album years ago. Thanks for uploading! This video is so weird and funny.

  • @manhatin Thanks for the clarification and after reading further posts "now I know the rest of the story." Cheers.

  • @manhatin Jesus Christ.... I went to Xavier and U.C. in the 80's say no more!!!!!

And the Modulators...... and there was an XTC cover band that rocked it too.... can't remember their name.
