Dancing to The Lions Sleeps Tonight

A simple dance step, back and forth to the phrases. I used this with some of my music students. The video was for them to work with in their own classroom.

I should have made the purpose clearer. This is a very SIMPLE dance that I use with young children in elementary general music classroom. They sing and do this step. The classroom teacher helps teach this aspect to the children to get ready for a concert. I am a music teacher at a small private school.

absolutly, The singing really does make a difference, I imagine is done with young children. I would only recommend a version where the cue to begin the dance is much clearer, or maybe even add an acoustic signal to the music.
