That's the whole truth about Peter talking to Cindy after he dispatches of Buddy Hinton but also discourages the other kids from teasing the bully himself. This is wht truly a better and more mature person would do after all is said and done.

Yeah, but there's a difference between doing it on, say, talk radio or on blogs ... and a junior high kid bullying a second grader! The former isn't very nice but adults can take it. A seventh grader doing this to someone much younger just to be mean is quite another! Listen to Peter at the end when he talks to Cindy ... it tells me that's what bigger people do.

Russell Schulmann, who played Buddy Hinton, played a bully in one of the last episodes of "The Andy Griffith Show." Earlier in the episode, Greg offered to take care of Buddy.
