Badger Boys State is designed to teach Wisconsin's young men about government, leadership and themselves through a week long, highly interactive program. Approximately 850 participants experience the program each Summer in a college environment setting. In addition to the electing and running of city, county and state levels of government the "citizens" of Badger Boys State also can enjoy activities such as team based and individual sports, band, choir, color guard and can contribute to a newspaper printed daily. The week can be a fantastic experience -- like non-other -- and due to its uniqueness we are posting testimonials from citizens who were just finishing their week at Badger Boys State 2009 as a way of providing more information to those selected to attend future sessions. Testimonials are not edited in any way and their words are of their choosing. Ali Kalil is recorded here on 19 June 2009.
