  • My pleasure.

I've loved Cockburn for 35 years and learned a few tricks about this acoustic song version as well as how to correctly plays "Tokyo". He never sold his values for the bright lights of America and for this, and his remarkable lyrics and music, I hold him in high esteem.

  • I can't believe all of the background noise on this. It's such a great song, and Cockburn sings it much better than the filmer's neighbor does. I saw Cockburn in Saratoga two weeks after this, and he played it more intensely --- maybe because the audience was listening.

  • I was in hte 5th row infront of the stage at this show in Kaslo!!

Pretty much the same view as this vid :D

    I live here(Kaslo)!!

    Was a great show!!

    Bruce was great!

We need to get Colin James back one day though!

  • @ben909ben oh gosh, Pied Pear somewhere, anywhere? More favourites!

  • Two signs of great songwriters are that their melodies are memorable, and their words are worth singing. I love voices raised in song, it's just unfortunate this guy was singing too close to the video's mic. The audience and Bruce probably weren't perturbed.

I always try and sing along so as not to disturb my neighbours!

PS: are Pied Pear still appearing in the Kootenays?

    Kootenay Bark.

  • I saw him down the road @ Joes Waterhole (Eumundi Australia) It was his last gig of the whole tour!

  • PUSH

  • I think it was the camera man!

  • I play a few gigs here and there, and even if they can't hold a tune, I'm thrilled whenever folks sing along.

  • don't you hate loudmouths at concerts--like you want to hear them sing--geez

  • Whoever was singing and hooping along was hopefully taken round the back of the gathering and thrashed within a few inches of their lives...

  • iTitus, do you think he should get Michael Buble to provide vocals for his next tour?! Did it take four or five shows to come to your opinion?!
